Caring Clowns/Hospital Clowns
What is the benefit of Humor Therapy? Emotions effect the immune system in
many positive ways. Laughing is aerobic! One day while clowning around Daizy
Dee was told by a patient..."Thank you for making me laugh. It made me forget my

What does a caring/hospital clown do? They make their rounds giving each
patient one on one attention. Each clown is trained to work in the health field and
works closely with the hospital or nursing home staff.
What degree do caring/hospital clowns have? You may choose your caring
clown. Most of our caring clowns have CNA to RN degrees which is important for
understanding the rules and guidelines of the facilities. We feel it is also important
to understand each patients conditions and being sensitive to those conditions when
it comes to clown humor.
What are the fees? It depends on what you are looking for. Our clowns range in
fees. It depends on what the facility expectations are. Does the facility want to
purchase props,costumes,supplies,and provide a liability insurance or would they
rather we take care of those needs. Each performance price varies depending on
what is expected from the performer.
Balloons and Hospitals-Hospitals typically do not allow latex balloons to be twisted
in their facilities due to latex allergies. We have however been to many nursing
homes with balloons.
Sponsor a clown....We are looking for sponsorship to fund caring clowns and other
charity events that we serve. Please feel free to browse our site to see what the

Sponsorships received year to date:
$250-Humana sponsored 4 events & $50 donation to kids injured while camping
2010- 2 hours at Up with Families Dance (flyers on all tables),1 hour at Trent's MDA
event,a clown show at In Touch adult day services, and 2 hours of clowning
Nov.15,2008 at Izabella Catriece Valenzuela fundraiser.
